Efkan Turan Yağcı
Efkan Turan Yağcı graduated in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Anadolu University in 1992 and has worked as an engineer and technical manager in industrial production plants since 1994. In the food-production facilities of Zorlu Holding (Güney Gıda) and Esas Holding (Esaslı Gıda) he was responsible for machinery investments, automation, energy and the management of all technical processes.
In 2012 he moved into manufacturing under his own brand, founding Umran Gıda ve Hijyen Makineleri in Antalya and producing everything from meat and poultry cutting lines to hygiene equipment. These 30-plus years of shop-floor and production experience are what set Umran Makine apart: we design our products not from a catalogue but through the eyes of an engineer who knows food-plant operations and hygiene protocols from the inside. In 2024 we moved production to Pendik, İstanbul, focusing — with the same team and the same discipline — on manufacturing hygiene machinery and equipment.
